Kawempe National Referral Hospital runs a full time 4-bed capacity Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and a 19-bed High Dependency Unit (HDU) & High Risk. Our mission is to provide the highest quality of care to our patients with pulmonary and critical care illnesses through a commitment to comprehensive clinical services, technological innovations and training the next generation of leader in emergency obstetrics care. Intensive Care Unit in conjunction with our laboratory services and the Department of Radiology provide cutting edge, up-to-date medical care to critical mothers within and outside Kampala.
